In his presentation Clare distinguished between Interactive and Static media, then contrasted VHS tape, CDs and DVDs in their various forms: image quality, equipment compatibilities, and various kinds of duplication and replications. Drew Townsend outlined requirements and costs for tape duplication and for DVDs, then demo’d Streaming Video from his company’s servers. He posted costs for the various types of downloading services Allied Vaughn is providing. Then Wain Roddy and the Vaughn team showed examples of their newest distribution option: various media On-Demand. This means no warehousing of copies and a real personalization of packages for the requesting custome
