"VIDEO FOR MOBILE DEVICES" & "BUILDING BRAND AND REVENUE WITH ONLINE VIDEO DISTRIBUTION"
Healthy food (strawberries, wraps and brownies) , good conversation and a great facility (The Educational Channel) made for a productive evening!
Barry Bienstock, President of Media Professionals of Florida and President of Dahill Studios, presented "Creating Video for Mobile Devices."
Barry covered the vast difference in size from a browser page running on a computer to the size of that same page on a mobile device.
Barry also covered some production practices such as using less motion, little or no zooming and not using transitions in the final edit that could save you time and create a much better product.

Peter Contardo, from Endavo Media, discusses how to "Build Brand and Revenue with Online Video Distribution."

Peter discussed how digital media businesses build their brand, increase revenue and connect with their audience interactively using the power of online video.

Major players are looking at alternative ways to expand their library of produced videos and this is driving demand for production, media management and distribution services.
We even saw how local players were expanding the use of video on the internet as well as mobile devices.
Laura Tierney of The Education Channel gave us a great tour of their facilities.

Barry Beinstock-TV Journal, Inc. d/b/a Dahill Studios

Barry has been in the film and video communication business for over 30 years. He has created many types of projects with a specialty in training programs. Barry shoots mainly on broadcast Beta SP but also uses digital formats when it is advantageous. Dahill Studios creates custom graphics, 2D and 3D animations for all types of media. The company also provides services to the trade, like broadcast quality film to tape transfer and film to DVD transfer services.

Peter Contardo is Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Endavo Media.

As a marketing strategist, management consultant, and entrepreneur, Peter has produced and branded offerings for a diverse group of businesses and personalities, including Diners Club, United Technologies, Citibank, VISA, Ross Perot, hip hop artist Lil’ Jon, and Mr. Universe, Ron Coleman. His productions include employee training films, sales videos, multi-media tradeshow presentations, and content for online video communities. He served on the inaugural advisory board of the Center for Smart Business and founded ProNet Tampa Bay, a volunteer-based workforce program that supported over 2,000 transitioning professionals throughout Florida and was featured in “99 Cows” by marketing guru, Seth Godin. He is an advisory board member of the Interactive Media Group of AMA Tampa Bay, and holds both an MBA and a BS in Commerce with honors from Rider University
