"Technology 2003, Pushing the Envelope"

Steve Brown, president of MPFI and owner of "10-20 Productions", Joel Freedman of "2 Hungry Dogs Productions" and Rod Harlan, president of the Digital Video Professionals Association (DVPA) a national media origanization gave us a great look at some of the newest items from NAB.

This month's Technical Track was presented by Barry Bienstock and he gave us a good look at "Smart Sound," a music editing, timing and playback program that works within Premiere (a video editing program). The demonstration was good and Barry showed us how well it worked within Premiere.

Steve Brown and Joel Freedman enlightened us with in-depth looks at audio, vdieo, grip, lighting and other technologies from NAB.

Rod gave us a good look at some of the new digital products such as the massive upgrade for Apples "Final Cut Pro" non linear editing system. Apple has included three additional program into Final Cut Pro 4. Just look below to see what they are.
