Directions: From Tampa, take the Courtney Campbell Causeway to Clearwater and stay on that road (Route 60). It turns into Gulf to Bay Blvd. Proceed west to the business bypass where the road forks. Stay in the left lane and proceed straight from Gulf-to-Bay. The road turns into Court Street. When Court intersects Ft. Harrison, turn left (south), and go two blocks to Turner St. Turn right (west). Go to the next street, Palm St. and turn right (north). The building on the left is Pinellas County's Communications facility and you can park next to the building and come in the front north entrance on Chestnut St. in the back. Enter at front of building.

Networking at WFLA was fun, great food in the studio and as always an excellent opportunity to make new business contacts.

David Rosenblatt, president of Silver Image Interactive, Inc. was our presenter for the March MPFI meeting. He covered streaming video, progressive video and the encoding and compression needed to get there.

David went into detail on the different video formats, codecs and compression options available.
|
|
