This presentation explores the world of Professional Video Metadata from Creation, Post, Archive, and Retrieval.  The concept of Metadata has been clouded with mysteries, unfulfilled promises and complications.  This presentation will show the latest in Metadata creation, including wireless creation from an iPad,  post adoption and storage.

Wes will be partnering with MPFI members who will help to show practical uses and application of Metadata from a metadata-capable camera (Panasonic HPX-3100) communicating with an iPad.  He will also show how this info can be used within FCP and/or AVID.

Wes Carr has been involved in the Production and Broadcast world since the mid 1980's.  Over the years he has participated in nearly every aspect of production, including 10 years as a Unit Manager for a production truck in the Washington DC area.  Since moving to Florida in 1998, Wes has been involved in System Integration, and Equipment Sales.  Since 2006, he has worked for Panasonic serving the Broadcast and Production markets in Florida.
